I’ve talked a lot on this blog about the awfulness of Charles Barkley’s golf swing.
Well, with props to the Aussie Golfer who posted this earlier in the week, I present to you the worst golf swing ever. This old fella makes Charles Barkley look like Ben Hogan.
Just watching this video makes me hurt. It’s an embarassment to bad golf swings everywhere.
So if you are struggling with your golf game, it’s time to feel better about yourself. In all fairness, though, I think he actually makes solid contact. He probably got a bad case of whiplash, too, but solid contact nonetheless. Enjoy.

Upon watching it again, it’s a “simple” alignment issue. I bet he would whip Sir Charles.

After further review, maybe it’s not the “worst” swing ever. The swing itself is bearable. It’s just all that pre-shot activity. Maybe it’s just the most “unusual” or most “awkward” swing.

The worse swing i have seen was Charles B. But its getting better.

The placement of the ball seems to allow you to slice the ball because you are coming upon the ball and not flat affecting it. Shanking comes also from not aligning the club head behind the ball where exactly the impact line is at and not taking a divot in front of the ball. In other words hitting through the ball. Try to slightly lift the toe of the club at address before swinging back. You must hit the ball and take some turf to get a solid hit.
